Growcery Greenery is our growing initiative at camp. We produce and supply fresh herbs and salads to our visitors at camp. As we grow yearly as a camp, we strive to learn more about growing technics and what is possible to plant in the Richtersveld desert.
We have shaded grow areas. We cover our growing areas with shade cloth.
Using modern organic growing techniques like companion planting and utilizing the fauna in the area, we can maximize the yield and utilize the grow space to its full potential. At the Growcery Greenery, a big part of our daily routine is to tend to your plants.
The techniques we use are no secret, and we share our knowledge freely with everybody interested.
We believe it's essential to be empowered to grow your herbs. You can use them for medicinal teas or even fresh pesto!
The outcome of growing is that it tastes so good because they grow so well.
