We have many Bougainvilleas at the camp, and they are all in full bloom. Having an explosion of colours here in the Richtersveld is quite lovely. After the hot Richtersveld summer, we enjoy cooler days during the winter, which provides us with an opportunity to grow all sorts of plants that are more accustomed to colder days.
We invite you to visit The Growcery Camp during the winter. If you want to escape the cold and wetness where ever you are, Richtersveld is a great place to stay. It is the perfect place to warm up and get some good mild African sun.
We are planting more Bougainvilleas to add colour to our desert camp. Our latest edition is rare trees that we are growing. Slowly but surely, the desert nursery is in the making.
